Our #FestivePeriod campaign is all about getting products to those who need them over Christmas.\u00a0We couldn’t do this without all of our amazing donation partners up and down the country – all\u00a0250 of them!<\/p>\n

We are sharing our #12DaysOfDonationHeroes\u00a0throughout December,\u00a0shining a fairy light on some of these amazing charities and organisations.<\/p>\n

To kick us off, we’d love to introduce you to Project Give Wolverhampton<\/a>! We are working with Lucy & the Project Give team to\u00a0deliver\u00a0essential\u00a0period products to those who need emergency supply.\u00a0As a result of the pandemic, the Project Give team have also set up a Period Poverty helpline, meaning anyone in the community can drop them a line if they’re in need of emergency period care.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The Buddy Bag Foundation<\/a> are\u00a0an organisation committed to supporting children who find themselves in emergency care, & provide them with a little bit of comfort. Each Buddy Bag contains essential toiletries (including Hey Girls products!)\u00a0and\u00a0pyjamas, as well as a book and teddybear, so every child has something to call their own.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

We-Stap<\/a> are based in Croydon, and work tirelessly to supply their local community with period protection. Their monthly group sessions also play a key role in building confidence, self-esteem and educate women on the significance of period health.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Living Plus <\/a>are committed to building safe and high quality homes across the country, but they also prioritise the development of neighbourhoods. Hey Girls donations go to those who are finding their feet, and about to embark on a new adventure in a Living Plus community.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Mill Bank Wellbeing Centre are always on hand to offer a safe space for their entire Preston community. Hey Girls products are offered to anyone who needs some extra support. The Mill Bank Centre prioritise the education and empowerment of their residents – our My Period education cards have been a huge hit!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Don’t Cramp My Style<\/a> are a Manchester based creative organisation, set up to break the taboo of menstruation through art and conversation. Don’t Cramp My Style also donate Hey Girls products to local homeless shelters and community centres such as The Pankhurst Centre<\/a> and Helping Hands<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Willingdon Trees Community Centre<\/a> are based in Eastbourne, and stop at nothing to provide essential care and support for local residents. This is Lisa, their Senior Development Worker, making a home delivery during the 2020 coronavirus outbreak.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Quayside Medical Centre<\/a> are part of the Care Plus Group. Their Open Door centre means that everyone has access to high quality care – and Hey Girls period products! Local residents are period protected after any visit to the centre.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Freedom4Girls<\/a> have long been a hero of Hey Girls. Tina and her team work day and night to drop off essential period care across the UK, from food banks, shelters, community hubs and refuge centres. Hey Girls products are always in demand, so we often deliver to these guys on a weekly basis.<\/p>\n

Give Your Best<\/a> turn giving into gifting. When someone donates their loved clothes to Give Your Best, women seeking asylum\u00a0can choose which items they’d like to take home. Hey Girls products are part of donations, so more women can receive period care who would otherwise go without.<\/p>\n

Endo Support United became an official Hey Girls donation partner this year, and have already made a massive impact within their community. Shifting taboo’s and getting the word out there on all things Endometriosis, our donations provide an extra safety net to those who are finding their feet with the condition.<\/p>\n

Barnardos<\/a> is a national Charity who remain close to our hearts. Their job is to protect children against harm and poverty, whilst providing them with the tools to build a successful and happy life. Your donations are given to\u00a0those children in need, meaning their period is one less thing they have to worry about.<\/p>\n
